The Lot. N-3 Utility Jacket is inspired by WWII-era U.S. Navy uniforms, a period when military outerwear reached its peak in both functionality and design refinement. Based on the classic utility jacket issued at the time, this piece reinterprets its essential workwear aesthetics while refining proportions and fit for modern wear.
The jacket features a functional three-pocket layout with oversized open-style utility pockets, including a chest pocket with a pen holder detail. Construction is reinforced with double-needle chain stitching at key stress points for durability and longevity.
Crafted from a lightweight herringbone twill developed from WWII-era olive drab tones, the fabric is modified with uneven yarns for a softer, more natural appearance and improved comfort. The result is a textured fabric that develops character with wear over time.
Finished with black-painted donut buttons featuring a vintage laurel motif, the design emphasizes gradual aging and patina alongside the fabric itself.
